OUTSIDE Ieke Trinks: VALUE PRODUCTS

I’m a visual artist living and working in Rotterdam and Malmö. For the past several years I have organized Performance Art Event (PAE) in Rotterdam and worked in collaboration with the all-girl improvisation troupe, TRICKSTER. I have performed at various international live art events such venues as FADO in Toronto and Defibrillator in Chicago. My recent work also includes Rings and Variety Show. Rings was completed in January and consisted of visiting, listening to, and recording doorbell sounds in the homes of Chicago residents. In Variety Show, which I performed in Amsterdam and Turku, the focus is on the activites of reproducing photo documentation of my past live performances with the participation of on-lookers.
